Wow, that was a long Quest

2014-11-16_15-31-16

Qindaar thought this Quest would never end, the Quest of Ciodaru’s Love. It was a twelve part quest, that seemed to cover every skill set out there. Pottery, Poison, Alchemy, Smelting, baking, Jewelry crafting and Arrow making. Qindaar was lucky enough to have Rogue for a brother, one of my alternate characters, so Qindaar gathered all the ingredients for the extract and passed them on to Erimus to extract the ingredients out and give them back to Qindaar to prepare. If there was no Rogue Qindaar would have had to beg from some other player to make this stuff for him and Qindaar did not want to take the time to ask a fellow player for a favor.  Needless to say, it was accomplished and the Quest completed.

What! A Twelve Parter

2014-11-13_11-12-24

Qindaar finished up his six part quest, and just as he thought it was safe to move on he gets hit with a new twelve part quest with Jewelery crafting and baking experience needed.  This is getting ridiculous, all this work just to move onto a new zone. Qindaar is three tasks into this quest and hopes to finish it up by the end of the weekend, we shall see.

Success, Made it Through

Qindaar managed to make it through the fourth quest in the six quest series, this was a very involved task requiring tailoring skill and blacksmithing skills.  Qindaar as required to make his own file, needle, make beads etc. to create a backpack.

Overall the task was an easy but time consuming event, but after it was completed a great sense of accomplishment.

Qindaar hopes to complete the series today.

On the flip side Qindaar has not had the opportunity to team up with Vmalice and Valmantia to work on the Veil of Tears progression. This week is not looking good either.

Ugh!

Qindaar is still working on this six part quest, hit a real snag today when he found out that he has to make a backpack.  Been killing spiders all afternoon for silk thread, still need to kill more, plus found out he has to forge a damned sewing needle. Now he has to figure out what is needed to forge a sewing needle, which means more running around to collect ore, etc.

I know Sony is trying to add more realism to the game by making you make real products to use, but on the other hand it is very time consuming to be chasing all over the place for this stuff.

Tomorrow is another day, so Qindaar will spend it over a hot forge trying to make a sewing needle. Isn’t there a 5 and dime store around?

The Hero’s Acheivement Continues

Qindaar continues his quest to finish the Hero’s Achievement.  Right now he is getting ready to finish up his wotk in the Mesa and move on to Sunderhill Docks.  Working on the last six part quest with two down before moving on.

Hope to work with V,alice and Valmantia tonight to run daily’s and maybe wipe out another progression task in Veil of Tears.

All This Running, is it REALLY Necessary

Qindaar continued working on his progression quest for Hero’s Achievement. One thing that is annoying is all the running back through three zones. Is it really necessary to travel back to a starting point for a turn in. Serpents Spine is a huge area, are we going to be required to run back in every zone to Crescent Reach every time? Thankfully Qindaar can port to Crescent Reach but he still has to run to where he came from.

This is Pride Weekend in Palm Springs so there is a lot of RL events going on so there may be very little game play this weekend.

Progression on Hero’s Acheivement

Qindaar spent a good part of the day working his way through progressions for  the Hero’s achievement.  Finally left Blightfire Moore and headed into Goru’kar Mesa only to find that he is KoS (Kill on Sight) so now Qindaar has to spend extra time to bring his faction standing up.  Going to have to research what favors he needs to do to raise his faction to at least indifferent to continue.

One Third the way to Hero of EverQuest

2014-09-30_10-33-06

Qindaar continues his achievement to become a Hero of EverQuest, he is about a third the way through the adventures, maybe a quarter of a way through progressions and specials, but getting there.

Qindaar has not been able work on the progressions for the Veil of Tears, have not been able to connect with Vmalice and Valmantia.  Maybe he will get lucky tonight and hook up for a run.

Getting ready to log in, as the journey through Blighfire Moore and Norath continues.

Wandering and Killing

2014-10-28_13-10-02

Since RL got in the way yesterday of serious game play, Qindaar worked his way through Blightmoore working on the Heroic Achievement.  The funny thing was every time Qindaar completed a Quest or and Achievement the guild would congratulate him. Finally I had to chime in and say thanks but to kill a level 30 MoB with a level 90 Wizard is a joke.  All I have to do is look at them and they die.  Actually I run all around the zone have the entire place attacking me, cast an area effect spell of brimstone and kill them all in one fell swoop.  I laugh every time I do it.

A thing Sony needs to add to the game are bottomless bags, I swear you cannot carry or bank everything you come across, but you never know if your going to need it in the future.  I have more junk accumulating that I have all the largest bags you can buy stashed in the bank and still running out of room.  There has to be a better way.

Back to work now, maybe I will get some serious play in tonight.

If Hebrew was not Hard Enough, Try Alaran

2014-11-03_20-24-28

Quindaar, Vmalice and Valmantia have started on our way to the progressions for the Veil of Tears.  Yesterday, Qindaar thought he would get a head start on researching, so he headed off to meet with the Magistrate of Argath, when he got there the Magistrate could not understand what he was saying nor Qindaar him, so I did a bit more research and found out that Qindaar has to learn the language first before he can communicate.  I relayed this info to the team and we headed out to do the prerequisites.  We have to help the Alarians by killing their enemies five different kill tasks, then we have to do one six quest chain and then two group missions, after this we will have a rudimentary understanding of the language a seventy out of a one hundred skill level.

We have one of the five kill tasks done, probably will not be able to do one tonight since I have a RL dinner engagement, I anticipate two weeks to learn the language unless I can get a guildy to help me out during the day.
